    ADP - Kerridge Autoline Dealer
    Management System

Kerridge - ADP Autoline - Introduction

    Visit us at TecconexSolutions.com
for UK and Middle East Consultancy

    Office CCMS

    Showroom

Autoline is widely regarded as the
    most comprehensive, and fully
integrated system, for the retail motor
    industry and associated trades. More
than a quarter of a century of
    continued commitment and work has
    developed a reliable and complete
product. There are in excess of four
    thousand installations active in more
    than thirty countries.

    Autoline has gained extensive
    recognition and endorsement from many
    major car and commercial vehicle
manufacturers and is one of the most
widely approved systems in the world.

    A focused and scalable product,
Autoline suits all types of outlet; from
    single site specialist dealers to
multi-franchise groups with a number of
locations. It is tailored to suit individual
requirements with a wide range of
interface and file transfer facilities to
    link dealers to manufacturers, importers
    and other third party systems.

    One of the most significant
developments in Autoline is the CRM
module, which sits at the heart of the
system. This allows a business to hold
    extensive information about their
customer base, giving the user a more
informative view of each of their
    customers. Parameters and access
control settings have been enhanced to
    provide increased functionality via the
new 'My Desktop' front page access.
This provides a clearer and more
    comprehensive tool to navigate around
    the system.

ADP has now introduced a number of
    important changes to the Bodyshop
    Management module, providing additional
    facilities to improve repair productivity,
loan car management and the overall
    bodyshop performance.

    Using Autoline

Autoline comprises more than twenty core modules with each one designed to
benefit businesses, staff and customers. The system helps to operate a
business efficiently in a process controlled environment, whilst allowing for
high standards of customer service to be achieved.

Autoline is a tool that is completely geared towards supporting the
management team in both planning and decision making, allowing them to
utilise the considerable power of an advanced dealer system to trade
profitably and achieve business objectives whilst striving for long term success.

    Using Autoline is about...

    Harnessing an 'information powerhouse'

The secret to getting the best from the Autoline system is to utilise the value
of the vast amount of information that it stores, processes and passes
throughout the modules. The tools available are immensely powerful, capable
    and easy to use.

There are endless opportunities to measure, compare, analyse and report. The
scope is limited only by the user's understanding of business needs coupled
with creativity and imagination as to how to resolve each requirement.

    Deploying best business practice

The Autoline system has been finely tuned to help a dealership operate in the
most effective way, using best business practice. In every department, the
processes taken care of by Autoline ensure the smooth and logical flow of
transaction detail. Equally, tasks involving manually handled data integrate into
    Autoline's well-developed disciplines and operations.

    Applying advanced technology

Balancing continuity and consistency with progressive evolution and new
technology is a never-ending objective facing the Autoline development team.

The system has been developed using the most appropriate programming
techniques to allow the production of efficient, high performance applications.

Recent introductions incorporate many aspects of web-based tools for internet
and e-mail applications together with SMS messaging. Other notable advances
include electronic forms and documentation, archiving facilities, Wizard
functions in key areas and the integration of third-party services.

    Developing competitive advantage

Staying ahead of the competition is a continuous challenge facing every
dealership. Exploring the potential of Autoline is a key element to operating
the business more successfully and looking to stay ahead of the competition.

It is important to understand the value of each customer to the business
how much they spend on vehicles, parts and servicing and what they buy.
Use Autoline to explore opportunities that could help direct a greater share of
    motoring budgets into the business.

Using the integrated system to control trading operations

A dealership involves the management of a considerable investment; it is a
complex business unit to operate and to control.

To safeguard each element, be they assets or liabilities, it is essential to
ensure that every transaction is processed accurately and efficiently.

An important benefit of Autoline is its seamless capability to produce fully
validated and timely financial and management information. This can be
completely relied upon for decision making and business development.

    Becoming more efficient and pro-active

Even in a busy retail dealer environment many customer-facing opportunities
will only have arisen from a considerable amount of time and investment,
often built over a long period of time. Because of this, it is essential to use
every opportunity to its full potential, maximising both the customer
    relationship and commercial benefits.

An important development in the latest Autoline system is an Aftersales
‘Wizard’ that helps the easy and efficient up-selling of additional related
products and services. Every aspect of the CRM tools is focused on a
complete visual presentation of each customer's profile in order to closely
match their needs with the appropriate ‘solution’.

Autoline has numerous elements that help to provide good customer service
and support the delivery of products and services from every department.
More importantly, Autoline is structured to free up operational staff from
repetitive programmed tasks to allow more time for customer contact and for
such contacts to be handled according to individually defined preferences.

The system's database facilities, its communication tools and
highly-developed processes are intended to be equally beneficial for the
customer to their 'experience' of the business, and for the user to use the
    system to deliver the 'experience'.

    Growing the business towards success

With nearly thirty years of sustained progression, Autoline has played a key
role in the success that its users have enjoyed. The volume and value of
transactions, for parts, service and vehicles, that have passed through its
integrated modules runs into millions. The number of business decisions that
have been influenced by Autoline have had such a marked economic benefit
    that is impossible to calculate.

The secret to achieving success in today's highly competitive retail automotive
environment is using Autoline in a way that suits each enterprise. The real
opportunity remains in the hands of the individual, as an operator, manager or
business owner. The freedom and choice to explore and manoeuvre the
system is the vital ingredient only available to those who invest in Autoline.

Autoline - The fully integrated system

    Showroom

This key area of the business benefits
from a simple user-friendly tool that
helps to make vehicle sales activities
    more efficient, enabling greater
    profitability to be achieved.

    CRM

    Everything that the dealership does
relates to its customers buying and
    selling, recording and communicating.
    Maximising opportunities, developing the
    business and being professional retailers.

    Vehicle Administration

Each stock unit, new or used,
represents a highly complex array of
    transactional operations. These have to
    be completed according to a
    well-disciplined process to handle
    purchase, stock control and sale.

‘Full integration offers extremely tight financial, marketing
and administrative links between the entire Autoline module suite.’

‘The highly developed structure enables the business to operate as
efficiently as possible and maintaining absolute control of the business
    assets and its trading activities.’

    Point of Sale

The aftersales business is critical to a
    modern dealership. Every element,
    flows from the customer's initial
    enquiry through to invoice. Stock
    control, accounting and labour
    operations complement each other,
    working together in harmony.

    Stock Management

    Multiple transactions, sales, orders and
purchases are all in a state of constant
    change. Ensuring that optimum stock
levels are kept and giving good service
alongside ‘just in time’ principles is vital.

    Accounts

The essence of an integrated system is
to be able to have a finger on the
    financial pulse and consistent
    confidence that all information is
correct to the level of detail required.

    PRESS RELEASE

    Date: Nov 2007.

    For immediate release.

TITLE: Recruitment solution for local garages

    (Wiltshire – Berkshire)

Following the success of its national online launch last year, Marlborough automotive recruitment company Tecconex is embarking on a new initiative dedicated to serving the counties Wiltshire and Berkshire.

This new service will see Tecconex working closely with main franchise dealers as well as independent garages and bodyshops.

Co founder Jonathan Causebrook explains that the recruitment of specialised and qualified staff is a difficult and time consuming process that many garages struggle with. Over last year we have found that many of the candidates that have registered with us are from the counties of Berkshire and Wiltshire. With this in mind we have approached and worked with many local garages and dealerships directly to find suitable placements, even if they were not actively advertising.

Causebrook goes on to explain that so far this method has been particularly successful and popular with the both garages and candidates alike.

We have found that many smaller garages are traditionally unsure about using employment agencies because of costs, however our dedicated consultants have found that by working with them and tailoring packages to suit, the costs are often not as much as expected.

Bigger dealers also see the benefit accounting for around 75% of this years business.

In the new year Teconex are confident they will successfully place many more panel beaters, sprayers, mechanics, parts people, service advisors, sales people and managers at different locations through out the region. They are also keen to build new relationships and ‘tailor made’ contracts with main dealers and smaller garages alike

This is the time of year for anyone looking for a new job to start compiling their CVs and registering at www.tecconex.co.uk ready for the new year openings.

Similarly this is the perfect time to start talking to a consultant at Tecconex about how they can help you in your business.
